Take time to unfurl this springtime…
‘Nature does not hurry yet everything is accomplished’ -Lao Tzu
The spring equinox last weekend marked the change of the seasons. The end of the cold winter months and the arrival of spring with warmer brighter days and increasing daylight hours.
Spring is associated with new beginnings and a sense of awakening. This year, as we begin to emerge from the global pandemic, the signs of spring are especially welcome. Walks in nature feel good for the soul with plants, trees and wildlife showing signs of new life as they exude the vibrant energy of growth.
As we welcome the new energy of the season this year we are also experiencing a time of reflection and a need to take things step by step. The pandemic has slowed things down and moving forward requires us to be patient as well as persistent.
As we begin to reconnect socially and start to re-build following the losses and change we have collectively experienced, compassion and kindness towards each other and ourselves will be invaluable.
These have been turbulent times so be gentle with yourself, take your time. Let nature be your guide. Nature does not rush yet everything is accomplished.
Spring is a beautiful time, full of potential, full of life and full of hope.
Allow yourself to unfurl slowly and let’s keep moving forward together,
